KISSES IN THE WIND

I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams
You are here each day with me, at least that is how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are.....what' s taking us so long,
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...
Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind .

May God hold you in his hand until I can be with you,
I promise you, my darling , I 'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend.
But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I send to you each night.

Home Study Draft

We received our rough draft of our APPROVED home study report (all good things were said . . .of course!). Once we have reviewed it, A Helping Hand will review it and then our Homestudy agency will approve of a final draft. Once notarized, we can send off a copy to the government to get our 171H form stating we are A-OK to adopt! :) Yeah! . . .How long will that take??? Hopefully around a month (I would sure love it to be sooner!)
As some of you are aware - tomorrow is D-Day or the Battle of Normandy/Omaha Beach (6-6-06 . . . not the best number sequence). Will we receive a referral on D-Day? What did the reference to that day mean in J's dream? (read The Dream to refresh your memory) Was it referring to the actual day (June 6th) or something about D-day and how it resembles our adoption process?? Time will tell, though I have to say that I am trying not to get my hopes up about hearing anything tomorrow (yeah right Lori!!!). OK - so I may be a bit sad if we don't hear anything . . . you may find me drowning my sorrows in a Starbucks caramel frappachino - or a Coffee Lover's Gotta Have It size waffle bowl at Coldstone Creamery . . . . I'll try not to go overboard. . . . . .
Thank you for your prayers. Continue on. We've been hit with needing an extra $3000 this month for various reasons - higher than expected doctor's bills, camp fees (I thought they would be due later), vacation expenses, school fees (that I thought we didn't start paying on till next month - but found out we actually owe 2 months worth due this week!!), and a huge car repair bill - though it would have been MUCH higher if it were not for our good friend Wakelin and his knowledge and skill in repairing cars!!! God bless you Wakelin!!!!
I know that God has the means to meet all these needs - but I'm still human, and every now and then I can start to panic! . . . . Ok . . . I'm done panicking now. . . . .
I'll let you know if we hear anything tomorrow . . . or any other day!
Thanks again for your support!
Love you all!
Lori :)
